Dr. David Rosen, DBH, LCSW is the Clinical Director at Hudson Pride Center, an LGBTQ+ social services and community center based in Jersey City.  Since joining HPC in 2001, David has been responsible for development and clinical oversight of programming and clinical supervision of staff/intern activities.  He directly provides HIV medication adherence counseling and LGBTQ-affirming counseling to clients and conducts professional education trainings throughout NJ to enhance provider skills in delivering HIV and LGBTQ-affirming care. David’s past work roles have been in adolescent substance abuse IOP social work, HIV homecare case management and HIV/AIDS continuing professional education.  He currently chairs the Ethics Committee for NASW-NJ and the Education Committee for the Hudson County Ryan White HIV Planning Council and since 2011, has been a part-time Lecturer at Rutgers University for their MSW courses on HIV/AIDS, LGBTQ+ issues and Human Behavior. He earned his MSW from Rutgers in 1996 and his Doctorate in Behavioral Health from ASU in 2012 and lives in Jersey City with his husband of 19 years and their two hyperactive (but still loveable) cats.
