
Giovanna Pomilio, Head of Credit Risk, London Stock Exchange Group
Giovanna Pomilio is currently the LSEG group head of credit risk. Previously, she was the LCH head of credit risk since 2013. Before joining LCH, she was a Managing Director and Head of EMEA Financial Institutions Credit Risk at Goldman Sachs. She has a finance degree from Bocconi University in Milan.

Robert Steigerwald, Senior Policy Advisor, Financial Markets Group, Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago
Robert Steigerwald is a Senior Policy Advisor in the Financial Markets Group at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago.
Robert began his career with Kirkland & Ellis, an international law firm based in Chicago, where he represented the Board of Trade of the City of Chicago, the Board of Trade Clearing Corporation and National Futures Association, as well as other clients in litigation, regulatory, and corporate matters. He later served as corporate legal counsel for a foreign currency clearinghouse and, later, a multicurrency payment vs. payment system for the settlement of FX transactions. Robert joined the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago in 2000. His research focuses public policy issues relating to financial market infrastructures and financial regulation.
Robert is a graduate of the University of San Francisco School of Law (JD 1985) and the State University of New York at Stony Brook (BA 1979).

Ross Josephson, Executive Director, Head of Counterparty Credit Risk Team Americas, Nomura
Ross Josephson heads Nomura’s Counterparty Credit Risk Team in the Americas. His group is responsible for managing credit risks arising across the Financial Institution, Financial Market Infrastructure (FMIs), Fund and Country Risk spaces. In this capacity, he helped implement the Clearing Risk Management programs in the Americas, and works in partnership with other regions to implement applicable Dodd-Frank and FMI / CCP requirements globally.
Prior to joining Nomura, Mr. Josephson worked for Bear Stearns & Co., Inc., where he covered counterparty portfolios In the Financial Institution and Mortgage sectors. He has 18 years’ experience in the industry.
Mr. Josephson holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from The University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the Stern School of Business at New York University.
