Email Encryption and Security

Email is a vital part of professional and personal communication. Unfortunately, email is vulnerable to hacking, data breaches, and targeted advertising. This webinar will cover general email security tips, secure email providers, and end-to-end email encryption basics.

Learning Objectives:

  • Know the difference between Webmail and an Email Client
  • Identify at least two secure email providers
  • Understand the concept of end-to-end encryption

Presenter: Josh Stone

Josh Stone is the Director of Digital Services for SEFLIN. Josh has over a decade of experience teaching technology courses to patrons and library staff. He is a graduate of the inaugural cohort of the Library Freedom Institute, a partnership between New York University and the Library Freedom Project to set up a network of online privacy advocates and trainers.
