This workshop will move participants beyond the basics of Resource Description & Access (RDA) and Machine-Readable Cataloging (MARC). The instructor will cover RDA and MARC for audio-visual (AV) items, such as video recordings and sound recordings (specifically audiobooks and basic popular music resources). New MARC fields will be explained, and examples and activities will help participants understand and confidently create RDA records for AV resources.
