Ryan Dowd

Ryan has spent most of his career running a large homeless shelter outside of Chicago, Illinois. In addition, he trains organizations around the world how to compassionately manage problematic behavior from troubled individuals. He is a licensed attorney and author of the American Library Association book, "The Librarian's Guide to Homelessness." Ryan is ecstatically married (Krissie) with two fantastic children (Cameron and Hailey).

Some of the issues covered:

  • The four problems with the way most people do backup.
  • Exactly how to provide backup correctly.
  • How to use backup to train new staff.
