CBA's Digital Channels Committee focuses on the growing digital banking channels including online, mobile, and tablet banking, alternative payments, social media and related issues. The mission of the committee is to provide a forum to discuss challenges executives in the digital channels space are facing, share best practices and identify current and future issues to be subject to regulatory/legislative action.
  • Education Funding Committee
CBA’s Education Funding Committee is the public policy voice for private-sector providers of higher education loans to students and families. Fundamental changes in the student loan marketplace have resulted from new legislation eliminating private sector lenders from federal student loans and imposing new regulations on all other forms of education financing. CBA expects efforts to impose new restrictions and rules on private student loans to continue and thus will work to discourage additional federal intervention in the private student loan marketplace where such intervention undermines the ability of lenders to provide funds for college.
  • Deposits and Payments Committee
CBA’s Deposits and Payments Committee focuses on education, legislative and regulatory issues and benchmarking for consumer deposits and related payments systems within financial institutions. Deposit growth and strategies have always been a core focus of retail banks. Today's economic climate, with consumers relying less on credit products and more on deposit account services, brings deposit growth and account management to the forefront. The Committee addresses the issues and challenges facing retail banks in the management of the deposits function.
  • Automobile Finance Committee
The Automobile Finance Committee brings auto lenders together to assess how to best serve customers by investigating emerging industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes. The Committee is dedicated to furthering fair and responsible lending throughout the marketplace, and acting as an educational resource for dealers and lawmakers.
