Copyright for Digitization

Session info:

Copyright in libraries can be confusing, especially when it comes to knowing your rights concerning the digitization of archival and special collections. This one-hour webinar will address basic copyright considerations and fair use cases that can be made when assessing the copyright status and access of digitized collections online.

Keila Zayas Ruiz is the Sunshine State Digital Network Coordinator, since 2017 she has been working with institutions from around the state of Florida to help them share their digital cultural heritage collections to the Digital Public Library of America. She manages the day-to-day operations of the network, conducts outreach, and training related to digital collections, copyright, and metadata creation.
