The model Bill of Rights was developed and approved by the Hospice Association of America's Advisory Board of Directors.  The one-page document provides information for clients' decision-making and appropriate service expectations.  It also outlines both the clients' and the hospice provider's rights.  The Bill of Rights satisfies Medicare requirements, but some state requirements may differ and should be verified to assure compliance.
