This fee is assessed annually on all chapters to help defray the cost of the national conference. The conference fee must be paid even if the chapter is unable to send a delegate to the conference. Nationally, Mortar Board pays for all of the accommodations, program costs, and meals of the official delegate on site. This fee covers less than half of the actual cost of the conference. Each chapter is also responsible for funding its official delegate's travel to the conference. These travel costs are entirely separate from the annual conference fee.
Please note that this fee may also be paid by submitting a check made payable to "Mortar Board" to the Mortar Board National Office.
