The outcomes from the survey highlight the shifting within the discipline and highlight several “key” facts. Aligned with the 2019 survey, an individual’s title is not a key factor when discussing compensation. The considerations influencing renumeration include revenue of the business, transactional volumes under the span of control, the industry supported, and the technology employed. The aforementioned factors are supported by the data and are correlated to higher compensation (e.g., the larger the company and span of control, the larger the compensation).
