MACRA Created the Quality Payment Program (QPP), MIPS and Advanced Alternative Payment Models, which evaluate clinicians based on quality of care, cost, use of electronic health records and improvement activities, and adjust the clinicians’ payment under Medicare Part B. 2017 was the first performance year of the QPP, and CMS is implementing key changes for 2018 and beyond. This webinar will provide an overview of the QPP, what it means for medical rehabilitation providers, and updates in year two of the program.
At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Identify which types of clinicians are eligible for the payment adjustments under MACRA, and the reporting requirements that apply.
- Explain how a clinician is evaluated under the QPP.
- Cite the changes that will be seen in the transition from year one of the programs to year two and beyond.
