If you purchase the course, your login information will be emailed to you when the course is released on 6/28/24.

The purpose of this course is to inform you of the most current and up-to-date information regarding Mental Health Billing.

It is our intention to help create a better relationship between the mental health provider, patient, staff, and the insurance carrier to allow for better management and collection of money.

Counseling and Psychiatric offices have various forms. We have made these forms available in PDF format for viewing and printing. After viewing the forms, you may want to edit or change your own forms similarly.

This course was developed for all Billing Services, and those that bill for Mental Health Providers. It is intended for Mental Health Counselors, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists, Licensed Professional Counselors, Psychiatrists, Clinical Psychologists, Clinical Social Workers, Independently Practicing Psychologists, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Primary Care Physicians, Office Managers, Students studying to become licensed, and for the patient who wants to learn, or better understand insurance benefits.

The course is designed with a pre-test for each section, and a final examination. Upon completion of the last section, you will have the opportunity to take the final exam covering all of the sections. When you’ve completed the final exam, you will be able to print a certificate of completion. The test scores are not recorded until you take the final exam. You must correctly answer 75% of the final exam questions to achieve a passing score. If you do not achieve a passing score, you may retake the test.

This course has eight sections.

You have one year from the date of purchase to complete the course. Course access will be available for one year or until you complete the final exam, whichever comes first. There are no required books or documents to utilize this course.
