IMPORTANT NOTICE: Nomination for Election for new Board of Directors for 2020-2022:
The USAWOA national elected positions open for nominations are as follows: President, Vice-President, Secretary, European Region Director, Western Region Director, Mid-Northern Region Director, Mid-Southern Region Director, Southeastern Region Director, and Northeastern Region Director.
USAWOA Form 200-13 must be submitted to nominate fellow Regular Members or themselves for national offices within the association. (NOTE: Associate Members may NOT hold elected office.) Those nominated should reasonably expect to be able to complete a two -year term of office. In accordance with the USAWOA Bylaws, those nominated for the Offices of President, Vice President and Secretary must reside within 300 miles of the USAWOA Home Office. Also, those nominated as Region Directors must reside within the region for which they are nominated. :
Each nominee must submit a written resume plus a head-and-shoulders photograph with any nomination. In accordance with USAWOA Bylaws, nominations, candidacy declarations, and resumes must be received at the USAWOA Home Office not later than 90 days prior to the first business day of the USAWOA Annual Meeting of the Members, thus permitting the ballot to be printed and mailed to each member. Therefore, all nomination materials must be received no later than 22 July 2020 by the Nominations Committee Chairperson, by email to firstname.lastname@example.org or by mail to: CW4 (Ret) Greg Gouty, C/O USAWOA National HQ, 462 Herndon Pkwy Suite 207, Herndon, VA 20170, in order to meet this requirement.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: New Life Members Rates
New Life Member Rates Are In Effect: As previously announced in the Newsliner, new Life Member rates went into effect on 1 January 2020. Please replace any old forms you may have with the new form, which is available on USAWOA’s new website, at usawoa.org. On the front page, select the “Resources” link. Scroll down near the bottom of the page, and there you will find it, together with other “National Forms.”
New - July 2020 NEWSLINER Notification - New
The July 2020 NEWSLINER is viewable to current members on the USAWOA Interactive Portal by clicking on the Login button in the left hand column and signing into the portal. Then click on the NEWSLINER button on the left hand column. The July 2020 NEWSLINER and the previous 11 NEWSLINERS are posted.
If you requested to receive the electronic notification for the monthly NEWSLINER and you do not receive the notification for the July 2020 NEWSLINER by July 13, 2020, please contact the home office at 703-742-7727 or by email.
This month you will see two versions of July 2020 NEWSLINER, one version is in High Resolution (14 MB) and one version is in Low Resolution (4 MB) for downloading depending on your service provider.
