Ellen Fink-Samnick is Principal of EFS Supervision Strategies, LLC. An industry thought leader for over 35 years, Ellen empowers the health and behavioral health workforce through professional speaking, writing, and consultation. A subject matter expert in Social Work Supervision, Clinical Social Work, and Ethics, Ellen is an esteemed author with over 100 publications to her credit. She has published content for many of the industry’s knowledge projects for practitioners, including books, articles, and chapters on Ethics, Technology, Workplace Bullying, Collaborative Care, Workforce Trauma, and the Social Determinants of Health. Her latest books include, The Essential Guide to Interprofessional Ethics for Healthcare Case Management, The Social Determinants of Health: Case Management's Next Frontier, and End of Life for Case Management, and upcoming Social Determinants of Mental Health: The Essential Guide for Healthcare Case Management. Her blog, Ellen’s Ethical LensTM, and LinkedIn Group of the same name have attained global recognition.

Ellen is recipient of the 2017 Distinguished Master Social Work Alumna for the University of Buffalo School of Social Work, the 2016 National Award of Service Excellence from the Case Management Society of America, and 2011 Master Teacher Award for Adjunct Faculty for George Mason University’s College of Health and Human Services. An adjunct professor for George Mason and the University of Buffalo School of Social Work, Ellen is also Lead Supervision certification trainer for NASW of Virginia. She has served as a clinical exam item writer for the Association of Social Work Boards, a commissioner for the Commission for Case Management Certification, and chair of their Professional Ethics and Conduct Committee. Ellen is also a Doctor in Behavioral Health student at Cummings Graduate Institute of Behavioral Health Studies.
