Classifying Domestic and Dating Violence Offenses for Clery Act Purposes
May 31, 2023 from 2pm-4pm Eastern time
This webinar will explore how to identify, classify and count incidents of Domestic and Dating Violence as defined by the Clery Act. We will explore the Clery Act counting rules as they apply to these offenses, when other Clery offenses are involved, as these complicated incidents of violence on campuses are leading to under-reporting of Clery crimes. This webinar will explore these issues and more as we aim to provide participants with guidance that will help them to accurately identify and count incidents of violence involving parties that are in a relationship.
