Keep America Beautiful/Coca-Cola Public Spaces Recycling Bin Grant Program Application Period is Open
National nonprofit Keep America Beautiful and The Coca-Cola Foundation would like to apprise you about the 2018 Keep America Beautiful/Coca-Cola Public Spaces Recycling Bin Grant Program.
In its 12th year, the initiative is designed to increase access to recycling in community public spaces across America. The grant application will be available online through Dec. 30 (11:59 p.m. EST), 2018. Applicants may visit BinGrant.org for more information and to apply.
Eligible recipients for the 2018 Public Spaces Recycling Bin Grant Program include municipal and government agencies, colleges and universities, civic organizations, and local nonprofit groups. Keep America Beautiful will award the grants in mid-January 2019 and make arrangements with suppliers to deliver recycling bins directly to the recipients in the first quarter of 2019.

Disability Awareness & Training
The IAFE has entered into a partnership with Disability Awareness Training (DAT) to provide education, resources, and training to all association members.
DAT has provided the Disability Awareness Training Tool Kit. To access the Kit, click here.
Interested in consulting or in training services for your own event? IAFE has arranged a group discount. DAT will come to your location and provide a day of training or consulting for $2,000 plus travel expenses.

Free Video on Ride Safety
The Outdoor Amusement Business Association has produced a video on carnival ride safety. The video provides easy tips on safety for kids and adults visiting fairs. This video is free and open for any fair, show, or exhibition to post on their website or social media pages.

OABA Circle of Excellence
Look for the Circle of Excellence Certification for Carnivals and Concessionaires. The Outdoor Amusement Business Association’s “Circle of Excellence” recipients are recognized each year at the IAFE Annual Convention. Click here for more information and great video on this important program.
Public Space Recycling at Fairs - Tools and Templates
