Event Description

Strategic Planning: Connecting Vision and Identity to Library Value
Tue, Dec 14, 2021 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM EST

Strategic planning can often be misguided or nonexistent, causing libraries to be stagnant or unable to move forward. A lack of strategy also leaves libraries vulnerable for budget cuts or worse. But libraries can place themselves in a position of great value in their community. Through strategic planning, libraries can learn to set goals and advocate, communicating a level of value that sets them apart, and allow the people in it to thrive.

From this webinar, you will:
Develop an understanding of strategic planning
Identify a vision for your library and set goals
Understand the value of moving forward

Presenter: Jennifer Blair is the Head of User Services Librarian and Assistant Professor at Azusa Pacific University.
