Immunology and Histocompatibility I

This session is the first of a 2 - part detailed review of immunology relating to transplantation, histocompatibility testing, virtual crossmatch, paired exchange, immunologic risk assessment and rejection.

This module consists of education content followed by a quiz to test the participant's knowledge of the subject matter. 

After completion of this course:

• The attendee will be able to relate the basic principles of immunology to transplant patients
• The attendee will be able to identify basic concepts of histocompatibility testing as used in their laboratory test requirements
