Pharmacology
This session presents the topic of concomitant medications and drug to drug interactions in the transplant patient, dosing guidelines for regularly prescribed immunosuppression medications, and monitoring patients for use of regularly prescribed medications. This session also reviews induction agents, maintenance therapies, desensitization strategies, and medications to reduce infections and eliminate potential rejection.
This module consists of education content followed by a quiz to test the participant's knowledge of the subject matter.
After completion of this course:
- The attendee will be able to recognize the drugs associated with various strategies to prevent rejection
- The attendee will be able to identify the medications used to fight various infectious diseases
