Pre-Transplant Infectious Diseases

The session is designed to help the learner develop an understanding of donor-derived infections by reviewing the types of donor-derived infections and how to minimize infections from occurring. The focus of this session is maximizing infection prevention before transplantation.

This module consists of education content followed by a quiz to test the participant's knowledge of the subject matter. 

After completion of this course:

• The attendee will be able to perform a pre-transplant evaluation for infectious diseases and recommend preventive vaccinations for infectious diseases
