Post-Transplant Infectious Diseases

This session discusses methods for prevention of infection after transplantation through use of vaccinations, medications and identification of strategies for safe living. Common symptoms of infection and management guidelines are reviewed.

This module consists of education content followed by a quiz to test the participant's knowledge of the subject matter. 

After completion of this course:

• The attendee will be able to distinguish methods for preventing infection post-transplant
• The attendee will be able to recognize the symptoms of post-transplant infection and treatment for diagnosed infections
