Understanding the Enneagram: A Journey Towards Transformation Continues…

 

The Enneagram is a personality system that promotes the integration of psychology and spirituality, and enhances self-knowledge and growth.

This training is relevant to social work values in that it promotes the biopsychosocial and spiritual integration of the whole human person. It is a model that presents a positive view of the human person and promotes diversity due to the multiplicity of its spiritual roots. Additionally, it is a training that encourages self-care and growth of the participant.

This workshop is designed for both new and past participants who have attended some of Teresa Tivenan’s previous Enneagram trainings. There will be some review, some new material, but much more experiential components than previous trainings. Additionally, no previous training in the Enneagram is necessary to attend this training.

Further, the Enneagram, is both a tool for self-care for clinicians, as well as a powerful clinical tool in working with clients.

The format of the training will be of a combination of both didactic and experiential material experiential material, for a total of 7 hours. This training does not provide for ethics hours.

1.        The participant will learn an overview of the Enneagram.

2.        The participant will learn the basic theoretical underpinnings of the Enneagram.

3.        The participant will learn the applicability of the Enneagram to promote self-care and growth.

4.        The participant will learn the applicability of the Enneagram in a variety of clinical situations, such as individual, marital and parent-child therapy.

5.        The participant will be offered an experiential opportunities in this training that will include visualization exercises and small group exercises and discussion.

Attendees will earn 7.0 Category 1 Contact Hours

Check-In begins at 8:15 am. Please arrive no later than 8:25 am to sign in. The training begins at 8:30 am and ends at 5:00 pm.

 

PAYMENT & REFUND POLICY:

If you choose the "Bill Me" option during checkout, please mail payment within 7 days of registering in order to hold your seat. You will receive a confirmation email with your purchase information following checkout; this will serve as your invoice, no other invoices will be provided.

If a registrant cancels more than 10 days before the event, a refund will be issued by check or credit back to your credit card, minus a 10% administrative fee.

 

If cancelation occurs less than 10 days prior to the event, no refund will be issued but you may request a credit towards a future training to be used within 1 year of the cancelation date. Call the Chapter Office (804-204-1339) to cancel within 10 days of the training. A request for credit may be granted at the discretion of the Executive Director in case of a documented emergency.
