Event Description

Understanding the ENNEAGRAM PLUS Model©: A Journey Towards Transformation – LEVEL 1

This workshop is a Level 1 continuation of the Introduction to the Enneagram, PLUS Model© workshop, which will be held on February 26, 2021. While it is recommended that the participant attended the Introduction Workshop held on 2/26/21, it is not required.

This workshop includes information about the Enneagram as well as Type and Temperament Theory. These three fascinating personality systems are a great addition to a clinician’s toolkit!

This is a Level 1 training on the Enneagram, which is both a tool for self-care for clinicians, as well as a powerful clinical tool. The Enneagram is a personality system that promotes the integration of psychology and spirituality, and enhances self-knowledge and growth.

Additionally, this workshop will be a Level 1 training on Type Theory, which includes information about the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator®. Also, this workshop will be a Level 1 training on Temperament Theory, which includes information about the Keirsey Temperament Sorter. In addition to the Enneagram, these highly useful instruments are complementary systems which can have an effective therapeutic impact.

The clinical application of these three systems can enhance a client’s self- knowledge, communication skills and relationship skills. For clinicians, these instruments can also provide a deeper self-knowledge, thereby enhancing the clinician’s use of self in their clinical work. The workshop also promotes social work values of honoring the dignity of the individual, and celebrating both the diversity and unity of the human family.

The format of the training will include both didactic and experiential components, for a total of 6 hours.
