As you know, the healthcare environment is very dynamic and home health agencies are facing a number of strategic challenges that must be addressed. With the emergence of Medicare Advantage and managed Medicaid insurance plans, the creation of Accountable Care Organizations with gain shares based on costs avoided and the creation of population health programs by many health systems, home health agencies are frequently asked to explain what they do for patients and to justify why payments made for home health services generate an adequate return on investment.
