AGENDA

10:00am – 2:00pm: Unlock Technology’s Value Through User Adoption led by Karen Graham

It doesn’t matter how much time, effort, and expense you put into selecting the right software for your organization—if you don’t have a change management plan that includes successful user adoption, you’re wasting your precious resources. Change management in this context involves a number of elements, including getting buy-in from the people who will be using the system and those who lead the organization, and training staff on procedures and best practices for using the new software.

During this program you’ll learn:

  • The critical role user adoption plays in a successful implementation project
  • Why people resist change
  • Change management best practices that can help ensure your success
  • Techniques for user training
  • How organizational culture affects user adoption

Learning Session Breakout:  After an instructor-led introduction to the above topic, break into discussion groups based on common challenges or technology platforms. We will provide a table captain and facilitator’s guide to help ensure a productive discussion.
