We are excited to welcome a panel of prominent senior credit leaders who will provide their unique perspectives on the state of the current environment and key emerging risks. The panel will also discuss how the role of the credit risk professional is evolving and critical competencies needed to stay relevant.

Vincent DiMassimo, Chief Credit Officer, Morgan Stanley
Vincent DiMassimo is the Chief Credit Officer of Morgan Stanley. He is Chair of the Firm Credit Risk Committee and a member of the Firm Risk Committee.
Vince began his career in risk management at Goldman Sachs where he was a Co-Chief Operating Officer of the Credit Department and had assignments in the firm's London and Tokyo offices. Following Goldman, Vince joined Merrill Lynch as a Managing Director, Head of Americas Credit. He later assumed responsibility as Head of Credit Risk Analytics. Vince joined Lehman Brothers in 2007 as a Managing Director and the Global Head of Credit Risk Management.
Vince graduated from George Washington University and received an MBA from the Darden School at the University of Virginia.
Mary Katherine DuBose, Executive Vice President, and Chief Credit Officer, Credit Risk, Wells Fargo Company
Mary Katherine DuBose, executive vice president and Wells Fargo's chief credit officer, is responsible for leadership and oversight of all credit undertaken throughout Wells Fargo. In her role, she oversees all credit risk through the company's lending activities and provides oversight of all company and line-of-business credit policies. She is also a member of Wells Fargo's Management Committee and serves as chair of the Credit Risk Management Committee.
Previously, Mary Katherine was the head of Capital Markets. In this role, she led teams responsible for Asset-Backed Finance (ABF), Debt Capital Markets (DCM), and Equity Capital Markets.
Mary Katherine has more than 20 years of investment banking experience and joined Wells Fargo in 1998 to assist in forming the Business & Commercial Loan Securitization team. Prior to her Capital Markets role, Mary Katherine was the head of DCM, and prior to that, she was co-head of ABF at Wells Fargo Securities. She also held positions leading Corporate Debt Finance, Subscription Finance, and Corporate Net Lease groups. Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Mary Katherine spent three years at CapUSA, where she helped structure Capital USA Funding and Llama Retail Funding, two commercial paper conduits financing trade receivables.
Mary Katherine holds a bachelor of science in business administration from the University of Arkansas with a concentration in finance. She is a member of the Executive Committee for KinderMourn and a member of the Board of Trustees for Charlotte Latin School.
Alex Golten, Global Head of Credit Risk and Chief Credit Officer, Goldman Sachs
Alex is global head of Credit Risk and serves as the firm's chief credit officer. He is co-chair of the Firmwide Capital Committee and the Recovery and Resolution Steering Group, as well as a member of the Firmwide Risk Committee, Risk Governance Committee and Allowance for Loan and Lease Losses Committee.
Alex joined Goldman Sachs in 1997 as a financial analyst in the London Credit Department and transferred to the New York office in 1999. He moved to London in 2009 to co-head Credit Risk for EMEA and returned to New York in 2012 as the global head of Credit Risk for the Investment Banking Division and later head of Credit Risk for the Americas. Alex was named managing director in 2008 and partner in 2014.
Alex earned an MA in Economics from University of Edinburgh.
Penny Tsekouras, Chief Credit Officer, Americas, and Chief Risk Officer of Wealth Management, Americas, UBS
Penny Tsekouras is the Chief Credit Officer responsible for oversight of credit risks across the Investment Bank, Wealth Management and Personal & Corporate divisions in the Americas. In addition, she serves as the Chief Risk Officer of Wealth Management Americas, where is she also a member of the Management Committee. She joined UBS in January 2018 overseeing the global credit risk organization in the Investment Bank before stepping into her current role in October 2019. Before joining UBS, Penny was with Morgan Stanley for 19 years serving as the Chief Risk Officer of Global Capital Markets and Chief Credit Officer of Morgan Stanley Bank, N.A.
Penny earned her BS in Economics and Finance from Cornell University and MBA from NYU. She lives in Manhasset, NY with her husband Peter and their three children. She enjoys going to the theatre and traveling with her family.
