Surgical Telementoring for Combat Casualty Care (STC3)

Date:  Tuesday, April 26, 2022
Time: 9:00am PT/12:00pm ET (90 minutes)

Description: The Defense Health Agency is developing a Virtual Medical Center Network (VMCN) to expand the use of telemedicine to benefit patient care.  This capability strategically aligns with Defense Health Agency Medical Affairs lines of effort and leverages advances in technology to project surgical expertise and improve surgical patient care within the DHA.

As the DHA develops this capability in the Medical Treatment Facilities, this network of expertise will extend to the “tip of the spear” by supporting the National Defense Strategy of increasing force lethality of our operational forces by improving warfighter return to the fight.
