Becoming an HRO requires not just attention to the principles and practices that we aspire to but also to the foundational mindset and culture that drives the effectiveness of those behaviors. Strategically this requires attention to all levels of an organization and connecting the elements that provides staff understanding of how operationalizing culture transformation drives efficiency and effectiveness. The VA HQ Leadership has provided guidance and support for setting these conditions, but the culture at the operational level has to be provided by the team “on the ground.” What gaps or needs do leaders need to focus on to provide this culture change? Join us in this session as we share thoughts and ideas around how to engage, empower and inspire staff on this transformational journey.
