Description: During this webinar Fritz Gartner, CEO of ADxHealth, will present a molecular method of secure and efficient patient sample identification. Reviewing the standard workflow required for sample receipt and identification within a diagnostic/pathology laboratory, a multi-factor authentication security and privacy solution will be discussed. Utilizing 44 unique single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) to analyze each sample, this method provides confidence in sample identification within the standard CAP approved workflow within a diagnostic/pathology laboratory. A case study will be reviewed to showcase the application of this method in a practical setting and a brief overview of additional application areas where the underlying technology can be incorporated will be presented.
