2019 LACUE Annual Conference

PLEASE CAREFULLY READ THE DETAILS BELOW BEFORE REGISTERING. 

The Louisiana Association of Computer Using Educators invites you to attend the LACUE 35th Annual Conference. The conference will be held Tuesday December 10, 2019 - Thursday December 12, 2019 at the Hyatt New Orleans.

How to Register:
Conference pre-registration is accepted online only.  Paper applications will not be accepted.  Follow the links below to register online.


By pre-registering online you will have three payment options: credit card, purchase order or "bill me."  Please select "bill me" if you are paying by personal check, or if your school/district will be submitting a purchase order or check for payment.  If you select this option, please be sure that the appropriate billing address is indicated.  You will receive confirmation of your registration by email. The confirmation email will be the ONLY invoice that you will receive prior to the conference.

 

Registration Fees & Deadlines:
Early bird registration is $135.00 if registering by November 1,2019. After November 1, registration will be $150.00.  There is no one-day registration or exhibit hall only registration.  There are no paper registrations forms and registrations must be done online. All registrants must be individually registered. Registrations cannot be shared.  Online registration will close on November 15, 2019.  After November 15th, registration will be available onsite only. On-site registrations must be paid in full on-site.  Cash, checks and credit cards will be the only methods of payment accepted on-site.

Presenters:
All presenters must register online and pay the conference registration fee. Presenters do not receive free or discounted conference registration.

Guest Registration:
Guest registration is $25.00 and allows a guest, who is attending with a registered attendee, access to the Tuesday night opening social and the Wednesday night networking reception.  Guest registration may be completed online in advance or on-site at the conference.  Guests may not attend any educational sessions and are not allowed entry into the exhibit hall except during the above-mentioned social events.  Guest Registration is not necessary for a regular registrant to attend the above social events.

Payment:
By pre-registering online you will have three payment options: credit card, Purchase Order or "bill me."  Please select "bill me" if you are paying by personal check, or if your school will be submitting a purchase order or check for payment.  If you select this option, please be sure that the appropriate billing address is indicated.  You will receive confirmation of your registration by email. The confirmation email will be the ONLY invoice you will receive prior to the conference.  Please print out this invoice and give to your school or school board's accounts payable department.  All payments received from schools or school boards must include the registrant’s name or confirmation number.  Payments will be accepted, but are not required, on-site for pre-registrants.  No new purchase orders, additions to purchase orders or changes to purchase orders will be accepted on-site.  No substitutions will be allowed after the completion of the conference. After the conference, invoices will be sent to the billing address provided on the registration for all unpaid registrants.  After 90 days, invoices for unpaid registrants will be sent to the respective school boards for payment.

If you are paying with a purchase order, please select the purchase order payment option. You will be required to enter the purchase order number.

On-site Registration:
On-site registrations must be paid in full on-site at the time of registration.  Cash, checks and credit cards will be the only methods of payment accepted on-site. No new purchase orders, additions to purchase orders or changes to purchase orders will be accepted on-site. No substitutions will be allowed after the completion of the conference.

Cancellation:
To receive a refund for a paid registration, or to be relieved from liability for payment for an unpaid registration, you must submit a written cancellation request by email, fax or regular mail (postmarked) by November 15, 2019.  Cancellation is NOT considered complete until you have received written confirmation from the LACUE office.   No refunds will be issued, or cancellations approved, for requests postmarked, emailed or faxed after November 15, 2019 regardless of the reason given for requesting the refund.  Registration transfers and/or substitutions are allowed.  Substitutions should be called in to the LACUE office.  A $25.00 administrative fee will be charged for all refunds.  Checks for approved refunds will be mailed approximately one month after the conference.

IMPORTANT :
Any registrant that cannot or does not attend the conference and does not properly cancel their registration or transfer it to another person will be billed and is required to pay the conference fee – THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS.
