Event Description

THURSDAY, JULY 25
SUMMERTime to Shine!

Flawless logistics are no longer the measure of a successful meeting. Associations rely on the revenue produced by the annual meeting, which means that meeting planners are under increasing pressure to guarantee both logistical and financial success. In this seller’s market, managing the financial exposure of your contracts is more vital than ever.

This session will allow participants to move beyond logistics into strategic financial management of your meetings. Learn how to put your best foot forward in RFPs to communicate the full value of your business and negotiate favorable financial terms for key contract clauses. Practice negotiation skills in a hands-on scenario that encourages partnership between planners and suppliers. Use real hotel contract clauses to determine how you can make your contracts stronger.
