Your First Step to Better Privacy at Your Library

Are you trying to figure out where privacy falls into your list of library priorities? Does the whole idea of improving privacy at your library seem too overwhelming to pursue? This webinar is here to help you take your first step: a privacy audit. Attendees will learn why privacy is so important and get practical steps for completing an audit at their libraries.

Presenter: Erin Berman

Erin Berman is a librarian of international intrigue, who when not serving her community enjoys late 1990s science fiction films, satirical art pieces, and friendly British baking championships. She is a fierce privacy advocate, leading the American Library Association’s Privacy Subcommittee. Currently, she works as the Division Director of the Learning Group for the Alameda County Library in sunny California.
