Ilana Ash, Managing Director, Credit Risk Management & Advisory, Goldman Sachs
Ilana is a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs in Credit Risk Management & Advisory (CRMA). She manages the Americas Funds, Funding (Repo) and Rates teams in CRMA. She is a member of the Securities Division Operating Group within CRMA. Ilana is also the chief risk officer for Goldman, Sachs & Co., J. Aron & Company, and Goldman Sachs Financial Markets, LP as swap dealers and serves on their respective Swap Dealer Risk Committees.
Previously, Ilana headed the Americas credit risk management of the firm's Investment Management Division. She also managed the Credit Derivatives team within CRMA from 2004 to 2008. Prior to that, Ilana held various roles on other teams within CRMA, including serving as a senior member of the Consumer Retail team. She joined Goldman Sachs in 1998 as an associate and was named managing director in 2011. Prior to joining the firm, Ilana worked at KPMG in Structured Finance from 1992 to 1996. Ilana earned an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School in 1998 and a BA in Economics from The University of Michigan in 1992.
David Belmont, Managing Director, Global Head of Alternatives Risk, Blackrock
David Belmont is the Global Head of Alternatives Risk at Blackrock where he is responsible for risk management of Blackrock's Alternatives businesses consisting of Hedge Funds, Private Equity, Real Assets, Commodities and Currency funds. Before joining Blackrock, David was Commonfund's Chief Risk Officer where he risk managed alternative heavy endowment and foundation portfolios. Before joining Commonfund, David was the Global Head of Hedge Fund Credit for UBS Investment Bank responsible for the risk management of hedge fund, private equity and managed fund exposures in the Investment Bank globally. Also at UBS, he was Head of Risk Management - Americas for UBS Prime Brokerage. Prior to UBS, he spent 10 years in Asia and was Head of Risk Management for Temasek Holdings, a Singapore Sovereign Wealth Fund.  
David is the author of two books on risk management, Value Added Risk Management (Wiley 2004) and Managing Hedge Fund Risk and Financing (Wiley 2011). He graduated from Bowdoin College Cum Laude and received his M.B.A. and Master's of Science from Yale University.  Mr. Belmont is a Chartered Financial Analyst. He also teaches a course on Risk Management at the Yale School of Management.
Stephen Haratunian, Chief Risk Officer, Millennium
Stephen Haratunian is Millennium's Chief Risk Officer. Prior to joining Millennium in 2017, Mr. Haratunian was with Credit Suisse for 20 years where he held various roles across risk management and derivatives. For nine years, he ran market risk as Global Head of Strategic Risk Management. Most recently he was Global Chief Credit Officer and Chief Risk Officer of the Investment Bank. He began his career at Bankers Trust where he held positions structuring and marketing derivatives products. Mr. Haratunian holds a B.S. in Finance from Georgetown University.
Brian S. Strauss, Managing Director, eDelta Consulting Inc., and RMA NY Chapter Chairman
Brian S. Strauss serves as Chairman of the Risk Management Association - New York Chapter (RMA NY) and he is a former Chairman of the Capital Markets Credit Analysts Society (CMCAS). Mr. Strauss is a Managing Director at eDelta Consulting Inc., where he advises financial institutions on risk management, regulatory and compliance-related matters. Previously, Mr. Strauss was a Director in the Banking & Capital Markets practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers. 
Prior to joining PwC, Mr. Strauss served as Managing Director and Chief Risk Officer of KCG Americas LLC, as well as Deputy CRO of KCG Holdings, Inc. Mr. Strauss previously served as CRO of Knight Capital Group, a predecessor firm, where he had global responsibility for credit, market and operational risk management. Before being promoted to this newly-created role in September, 2012, Mr. Strauss had served as Chief Credit Officer of the firm. 
Mr. Strauss was previously a Managing Director and Senior Credit Officer at UBS Americas Inc., where he served as Co-Head of Hedge Fund Credit in the Americas. While at UBS, Mr. Strauss was the primary risk liaison to the domestic and international equities businesses and the exchange-traded derivatives businesses globally.  Prior to joining UBS, Mr. Strauss was employed by Bank One N.A. as a Managing Director and Capital Markets Credit Officer, where his responsibilities included managing the bank's exposure to hedge funds, securities firms and money managers, and overseeing the ISDA documentation group.
Mr. Strauss received a B.Sc. in finance from Georgetown University and an M.B.A. in finance from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University.
