Please join the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials (ASTHO) for a webinar on Wednesday, October 24th, from 3:00-4:00 PM ET, as we discuss why tobacco exposure during pregnancy is an ongoing problem in the United States that can lead to detrimental effects on the fetus and early brain development. This webinar aims to educate state health department staff in the areas of tobacco cessation and early brain development. Webinar speakers will discuss the science behind prenatal and early tobacco exposure and the impact on early brain development. State speakers will share experiences implementing successful tobacco cessation and smoking reduction programs within the MCH population.
