Introduction:
This manuscript has been prepared primarily for designers and publishers to provide basic information about copyrights. It includes two parts. Part I discusses the basics of copyright law as applied to designers and publishers. Part II includes information on how to register copyrights in architectural plans and designs.
About the author:
David E. Bennett is partner in the firm Coats & Bennett, PLLC, in Cary, North Carolina. Mr. Bennett concentrates in the area of patent, trademark, and copyright and is registered to practice before the United States Patent & Trademark Office. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture and received a Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1985.

To download the product:
- Log into your AIBD online account.
