Merchandise Description

This program was recorded in 2008 and runs for 27 minutes.

Not every library has the ability to build new "green" buildings, but every library has the ability to create an environmentally-friendly library. This program will show you simple, everyday tips that you can use to help your library and your community improve the environment. You'll be shown programming ideas, recycling ideas, and ways other libraries are working to create a healthier planet. If you are able to build a green building, you'll see how the Long Beach (CA) Public Library and the Santa Monica (CA) Public Library created beautiful, LEED-certified, green libraries.

Requested items are sent through the delivery service as soon as a copy is available. If no copy is available, you will be added to the Wait List. Please allow time for delivery. You may borrow the DVD for two weeks.
